Henryk is a Polish-Jewish novelist, poet, playwright and essayist, who has authored more than twenty books and been recognized with numerous prestigious awards. As one of the only members of his family to survive the Nazi occupation, Henryk’s writing is deeply informed by his personal experiences during the Holocaust and the expulsion of Poland’s Jews in 1968.
