Antony is a renowned scholar of the Holocaust, holding the title of Emeritus Professor of Holocaust Studies at Brandeis University and Chief Historian of the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw. He is the founder of Oxford University’s Institute for Polish-Jewish Studies and of the American Association for Polish-Jewish Studies.
Anthony’s contributions to academia and society have been widely recognized. In 2011, he was awarded the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Polonia Restituta, which recognizes his significant achievements and contributions to the field of Holocaust studies.
